Bruce is a life member of AFCEA, and has served in various roles at local, national and international levels since 1994.
After a full 34 career in the RAF in the Information, Intelligence and Communications and general ‘Cyber’ areas, for the last 18 years he has been an independent and external consultant into commercial organizations (from blue-chip/Fortune 100 to SMEs) as well as to government departments on both sides of the Atlantic.
Bruce has also served on the boards of a number of ‘high security’ organisations on the West Coast and East Coast of the USA and as the Special Advisor for Cyber to the City of London Police Commissioner, his Economic Crime Directorate and the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau.
For the last 5 years Bruce’s portfolio has included being the senior professional advisor on the MOD’s Cyber Advisory Team.
