Sara Bernardini is a Professor of Artificial Intelligence in the Department of Computer Science at Royal Holloway University of London, where she is also the Director of the MSc in Artificial Intelligence and the Equality and Diversity Champion.
She received her PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Trento (Italy) as well as an MSc and BSc in Computer Science and Engineering (summa cum laude) from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (Italy).
Before joining Royal Holloway, Sara was a research associate in the Planning Group of the Department of Informatics at King’s College London and, previously, a research fellow at UCL Knowledge Lab.
In 2005 – 2007, Sara was a research scientist at NASA Ames Research Center, where she worked on autonomous planning agents for space mission operations.
